The location of Ascott Huai Hai Road Shanghai is excellent, with easy access to Xintiandi and nearby shopping malls. The hotel offers great value for money, especially for budget travelers. The kitchenette facilities and the supply of crockery and utensils are impressive.

The stay at Ascott Huai Hai Road Shanghai felt like home, with no complaints.

We asked for down pillows and they were provided. Breakfast was also hot with scarce varieties and had great service.

I chose this hotel for attending an annual general meeting, and I was impressed by their public security bureau system at the front office. The event facilities, including the conference center and meeting room, were well-equipped and convenient. The complimentary wired Internet access and business center were also useful for my work.

The one service that I missed for my work was the lack of room service. It would have been helpful to have the option of dining in my room during busy work days.

Spacious room, great value for money, responsive and friendly staff, excellent location in the heart of the city with interconnecting shopping mall and nearby food and tourist spots. Inclusive amenities like a big kitchen with all necessities, big bathroom with shower and bath, and a large sitting area to relax. Close to subway station and shopping areas. Highly recommended for a return visit.

The apartments at Ascott Huai Hai Road Shanghai are amazing! They have wide windows that let in lots of natural light, making the whole place feel bright and airy. The kitchen has everything you need, and the rooms are so comfortable that you'll have a great night's sleep. Plus, the bathrooms have deep soaking bathtubs and rainfall showerheads - pure relaxation!

Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the soundproofing feature. But hey, that's just me!

I like that the wifi is accessible in the room as I needed to work. The location is very central. However, there is a room refridgerator but nothing inside, I have to buy drinks if I need to. The cleaner did not change my sheets daily.

The presence of a sauna, fitness centre, and hammam added to the overall wellness experience, ensuring a diverse range of options for relaxation and rejuvenation during my stay.

I did encounter a minor inconvenience during my time at Ascott.

The only thing I like about this hotel is the convenience of the location.It is easily accessible to most places.

(1)The Breakfast.--it's pathetic.You only have 1 kind of bread, which is white bread. I am diabetic and I take only multigrain ot wholemeal.Overall, the quality and selection is very poor,which does not speak well for a quality accomodation in Ascott.(2) Understand that this is a new hotel, but the decor in the room looks old.

The hotel was in a convenient location, close to the subway station and within walking distance to popular dining and entertainment areas. the room itself was spacious and reasonably furnished, providing enough space for a comfortable stay. These were the only redeeming aspects of our experience.

I had high hopes for this hotel, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. the service was not up to par.
